About Dashwise
Dashwise wants to reimagine B2B software: an operations platform for manufacturing, construction and trade. One governed workspace with identity, permissions and audit, and a marketplace of modules on it.
A small team, early and growing. Decisions still get made in a room, against real usage rather than a roadmap slide. There is more to decide here than to inherit.
What you will do
A form saves, but the input disappears afterwards. A button works, but nobody knows what it does. You work through Dashwise from the perspective of the people who use it every day and find these issues before they disrupt a customer's work.
You test new features and existing workflows, try unexpected inputs, and question whether the interface makes sense. You describe bugs so developers can reproduce them, discuss improvements with the team, and check the solution yourself. The role is available as an internship, a Minijob or a working student position; we agree on hours and duration together.
- Test Dashwise using realistic workflows, from the first click to the saved result
- Manually check new features and existing workflows, including empty fields, unexpected inputs and other edge cases
- Identify UI/UX issues: unclear labels, unnecessary steps, missing feedback and inconsistent behaviour
- Document bugs clearly: steps to reproduce, expected and actual behaviour, and screenshots or short screen recordings
- Discuss findings with engineering and product, explain their impact on users, and suggest concrete improvements
- Retest fixes and turn recurring checks into test cases and checklists
What you offer
- You pay attention to detail, investigate thoroughly, and can clearly explain what does not work and why it matters.
- You work methodically and follow a bug until you can reproduce it reliably or narrow down the conditions that cause it.
- You have a feel for straightforward interfaces and can put yourself in the shoes of someone using the product for the first time.
- Some experience with software testing, web applications or UI/UX helps. Coding skills and experience with test automation are a plus, not a requirement.
- You can document observations and bugs clearly in German or English and discuss them with the team. For a working student position, you are enrolled at a university.
